Airs of the Elders
20” X 24 ”
Grand Canyon Submission for Arts for the Parks 2000. Airs are dances above the ground. The dancers are the canyon and this narled pine on the rim.

Arise-Shine
12” X 36”
From Nixon Gulch Rd. north of Manhattan, MT. These are the colors of morning during the fires raging on the other side of the Horseshoe Hills.
SOLD

Bridger Born
20” X 24”
In 1992 I started painting plein air in Bozeman. Some of my first subject matter was the Bridger Mountains and wheat fields north of Highway 10 at 7 th Ave. My records show just 3 nearby family farms in the distance.

Bridger Sheep
16” X 20”
These sheep were highlighted during a spring rain over the Bridgers.

A Broader View
8” X 16”
From the East Gallatin River north of Belgrade, soon to be subdivided. Several years ago I started painting this scene at twilight. It looks west towards Manhattan.

Right Time-Right Place
30” X 40”
A hot summer day found me soaking my feet and painting on the Gallatin River at Deer Creek. What a day!

Higher Ground
24” X 30”
Time-honoring the Native Americans as they pack and move their camp from the vast prairie to the Big Horns.

Wolf Watching-the Lamar River
40” X 54” diptych
The year the wolves were introduced to Yellowstone Park, we were on a painting trip to the Lamar. To see the wolves, everyone shared their viewing scopes that year. Of course my eyes were drawn to this fabulous sunset going on to the west of us in the Lamar Valley.

On the Madison Trail #1
12” X 16”
Many miles south of Logan, the Madison River winds through the valley at an utmost slow pace beckoning the fishermen. These are precious miles of river front.

On the Madison Trail#2
10” X 16
Many miles of river front property south of Logan.

Over Paradise
12” X 36”
SOLD

Pilot-Index
12” X 16”
This is an opportunity dreamed of by artists. And so at 4:00 am we headed from snug beds at Cooke City down Chief Joseph Hwy. to watch the sun rise on these famous peaks.

Quiet Solitude – Spanish Peaks
12” X 36”

SOLD

Spirit Filled – Canyon DeChelley
20” X 24”
This was a submission for Arts for the Parks in 2000. Canyon DeChelley is a “Time-Honored” place. Spirits of the ‘Ancient Ones' can still be felt if one listens closely.

Morning Magic
46” X 30”
On this morning the Gallatin River Canyon stopped me cold. Though I was perched on a 10 foot strip at the top of a 50 foot drop, I quickly painted a sketch of the morning sun peeking through onto the river.
